SeatMe started as an idea jotted on a notes app in early February of 2011. The idea was to make restaurant reservations better — both for members of the hungry public and members of the hard-working restaurant community. From there, things moved fast — two months, two co-founders, dozens of in-depth conversations, one lonely Valentine’s Day, some lines of code, a handful of snappy slides, and five willing funders later, SeatMe became a reality.
Today, we are a 13-person company (looking to grow!), comfortably set up in our home-sweet-home of an office in beautiful, bustling downtown San Francisco. We work day in and day out, tirelessly integrating our knowledge of restaurant life with the latest tech know-how and some mad programming skills. We also make time to hit the town as a staff, diligently doing our (always scrumptious) restaurant research.
Together, we are creating the single best software system for restaurant management. We place a high priority on great design, innovative features, and keeping costs low for our customers. In short, SeatMe is here to revolutionize the restaurant industry.
