The Wild Hare & Singing Armadillo Frog Sanctuary has been Reggae Capital USA for 40 years. Originally located a block south of Wrigley Field, we have since 2014 been located at 2610 N. Halsted Street at Wrightwood in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. We specialize in the best LIVE Reggae from local, regional and international performers Wednesday through Sunday. Music starts nightly at 8pm-2am (3am Saturday). In addition to great reggae music, we have three bars serving ice cold Red Stripe beer, our famous Wild Hare Rum Punch plus Guinness and other fine beers and island cocktails. Chef Allen Rochelle’s Creole Caribbean cuisine features authentic pimento wood smoked jerk, small plates, house made Jamaican patties, real South Louisiana gumbo, Caribbean specialties like Oxtail stew along with salads and desserts. Our kitchen is OPEN LATE. Our Lounge Room is available for private parties of 10-50 guests (send your preferred date to info@wildharemusic.com). Cover charge nightly at the door varies from FREE to $20 depending on the night and performer. All guests must be 21+ with ID. We do not have a guest list. Indoor Self Park is available across the street at The Home Depot at a discounted rate.
